Woman saves camel dying of thirst in desert
The Alxa Desert in Inner Mongolia in northern China is famous for its pine forests and desert lakes, and attracts many adventure-seeking tourists every year.
On April 28, a group of tourists were trekking in the desert when they came across a young camel that had fallen into the sand.
This breed of camel is found in Mongolia and Central Asia, and an adult camel can survive for up to a month without water.
But a tourist estimated that the camel found in the desert was only 3 years old.
Haier, 30, who led the group, immediately examined the camel and realized that it had collapsed due to dehydration.
They then carefully straightened the camel's stiff legs and helped it stand.
Tourists said that the woman's body weight was only 40 kilograms, so she showed amazing strength to help the camel.
The camel had a number engraved on it, indicating that it belonged to a local shepherd who had become separated from the other camels and lost his way in the desert, wandering there for several months.
Through this number, the tourists located the camel's owner and returned it home.
