Why do people have wisdom teeth in their mouths?

The reason for this is quite interesting

Teeth are an essential part of the digestive process, but our 4 molars are often very painful.
Wisdom teeth often begin to erupt after age 18, and the human tooth count reaches 32 when these four molars erupt.
But the question is, if the process of molars coming out is so painful, why do we need them at all, because they are often removed through surgery.
The reason for this is quite interesting. In ancient times, when humans had not discovered fire, they ate meat raw, while hard nuts were also part of the diet. Such hard foods caused the jaws to become larger.

For this reason, these wisdom teeth became essential for survival for the humans of that time, and they did not experience any pain when they emerged.

But as our brains grew, our jaws also got smaller, and the process of wisdom teeth eruption became painful because the volume of our mouths became too small to fit a third row of molars. However, humans started cooking their food, which made it easier for them to chew food, and wisdom teeth are no longer needed for chewing. Experts believe that human evolution will gradually eliminate wisdom teeth, but it is difficult to say how long this will take.
